Crackerjack read. I can recommend this to anyone wondering whether the money they send to overseas aid gets through.

Rod - finally someone from our underachieving graduating year is famous. Congratulations, and I look forward to reading the book.

Thanks for your message Jeremy - your expereinecs living in the US must have made you blog-literate (blogging is not a great science in Australia, it seems - most prefer email). Great to hear from you. Are you still in NY?

Waiting for my ordered copy to arrive Rod - things are slower here in Manila. Looking forward to reading your book of experiences. Congratulations on your achievement.

Hi Fodder
Wow what a journey over the last 25 years. You are still very recognisable in the photos, and your writing is as though I was sitting in the room with you having a conversation. Congratulations on a life full of many adventures. Spoke with Michelle Pedler and she is inspired to head to Africa and do some voluntary work. I am not sure if Accountants (thats me) have the same opportunity. Once again have read your book, loved it, passed it on to friends. Very inspiring. Take care. Cheers Ainsley Parker (I hope you remember me!!)

What a lovely surprise to hear from you, and to see that it's reached so far. And, it's so pleasing to hear that Michelle is inspired to go to Africa to do some volunteering. There is a great call for accountants actually - mostly to strengthen government systems, or to help make sure that the funds are used properly. All the best.
